Piest Systems (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. is an embedded systems training company in Bangalore that goes a step beyond the classroom. Alongside hands-on training in Embedded Systems, Automotive Embedded Software, AUTOSAR, and Embedded Linux, we work directly with product companies and startups as an automotive ECU software development and testing partner — covering everything from firmware design to Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation. We’re based in Bellandur, on Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road, and we work with engineers at every stage — students preparing for their first job, working professionals upskilling into automotive domains, and product teams that need an experienced partner to take their ECU software from concept to validated release.

Piest Systems was founded on a simple premise: embedded systems training in India is full of theory and short on real industry exposure. We built our training programs and our engineering services side by side, so that what we teach in the classroom is the same work our engineers do for product companies every day.

Embedded Systems & Automotive Training

Our course catalog covers Embedded Systems, Embedded Linux, VLSI, AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive), Automotive Cyber-Security, Bootloader Development, and protocol-specific tracks (CAN, LIN, UDS, OBD-II, DoIP, Ethernet). Programs are available for freshers, working professionals, and career switchers — in weekday, weekend, hybrid, and fully online formats.

Automotive ECU Software Development & Testing

This is where our training expertise turns into delivery. Our engineering team designs, develops, and validates automotive ECU software for clients — including embedded firmware development, AUTOSAR-based application layers, diagnostic stacks, and full software testing cycles for Electronic Control Units. We support both the development side and the independent testing side, so clients can bring us in at any stage of the ECU lifecycle.

HIL Testing Services

Hardware-in-the-Loop testing is a core part of how we validate ECU software before it reaches real hardware. Our HIL testing services simulate the vehicle environment — sensors, actuators, and bus traffic — around the actual ECU under test, so faults, edge cases, and protocol-level issues surface long before a vehicle does. We offer this both as a standalone service and as a hands-on HIL testing training track for engineers.

Our In-House Engineering Products

Because we build and test ECU software every day, we also build our own tools for it:

  • TESAF — our in-house automotive ECU testing and multi-protocol bus-analysis software, covering CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, DoIP/Ethernet, UDS, OBD-II, J1939, and HIL simulation, with built-in Python test automation. It’s designed as a complete, India-built alternative to expensive international ECU bus-analysis tools — at a fraction of the licensing cost.
  • AutoPie Studio — our all-in-one ECU configuration, calibration, and AUTOSAR development environment, built to replace the need for multiple costly international configuration tools with a single unified workspace.

Both products grew directly out of the testing and development work our engineering team does for clients — they’re built by people who use them daily, not by a separate product team guessing at requirements.
